The Units Behind Our 2026 Exhibitions
Every trade show provides us with the opportunity to discuss our latest products and developments, but it’s also a great chance to showcase the businesses that choose Weightlifter Bodies and PPG Fabrications.
None of the vehicles on our stand are built purely for display. They’re customer-owned, hard-working units that spend their time out on the road doing exactly what they were designed to do.
So, here’s a closer look at the customers who helped make our shows this year a success:

Aluminium Plankside Bulker for
Pedersen Contracting Services
Based in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, Pedersen Contracting Services provides specialist poultry services, bulk haulage, and agricultural contracting for customers across the UK. The business supports a wide range of agricultural operations, including the transport of bulk materials and poultry litter.
The final specification of this aluminium plankside tipping trailer was tailored to suit Pedersen's operational requirements, including several bespoke amendments before completion:

Rigid Plankside Bulker for
W S Winterburn and Son
Based in North Yorkshire, W S Winterburn & Son operates within the agricultural and bulk haulage sectors, supporting customers with transport throughout the region.
Showcased at Cereals, this aluminium plankside rigid body was built with agricultural operations in mind. Lightweight, practical, and durable, the specification includes a range of features suited to grain and bulk crop transport, making it a natural fit for the UK's leading arable event.

Road Transport Expo - Stoneleigh
Aluminium Half Barrel
for RH & AJ Bateman Ltd
Based in Somerset, they specialise in bulk haulage alongside the supply and delivery of aggregates, sand, gravel and animal feed. We began working with RH and AJ Bateman from the Road Transport Expo in 2025, supplying multiple Aluminium Half Barrels to them over the past year:

PPG Insulated Smoothline Body for Nick Ager Haulage
Based in North Devon, Nick Ager Haulage provides bulk haulage alongside aggregate, landscaping, and recycling services. Operating a fleet of tipper vehicles, the business supports customers across the construction, quarrying, and civil engineering sectors.
Their brand new DAF XF 530 FAW 8x4 is fitted with one of our Smoothline insulated bodies and the HeatMaxx extended insulation package. Designed for the transport of asphalt, sand, and gravel, the build combines enhanced insulation, operator safety, and practical day-to-day functionality in a versatile rigid body specification.

Aluminium Half Barrel for
Onyx Freight Services
Scunthorpe-based Onyx Freight Services provide bulk transport services across the UK and Europe, operating a modern fleet that serves major ports along the Humber and River Trent. Shortly after the launch at Road Transport Expo, they became the first customer to take delivery of a Weightlifter SMART Trailer.
As a fellow local business, we're excited to see the trailer out on the road and look forward to building a strong working partnership with the Onyx team in the years ahead.
